Any idea what percent of GDP the Military Industrial Complex is ?
I've tuned out this Summer, last I heard, Trump wanted to gift the MIC with a $1,500,000,000,000 ( 1.5 trillion ) budget for the next fiscal year. And I think we'd all guess that the true cost is likely far,far higher. There are apparently a lot of American military bases in the Middle East that have sustained a whole lot of damage, and our naval vessels don't seem to be operating too smoothly. So a whole lot of money needs to be spent on rebuilding. There is likely not enough money in drones to sate the greed of the MIC, so expect more wasteful spending.

Seems like there are 2 MIC's that Americans need to be worried about, the Military Industrial Complex, and the Medical Industrial Complex. Military funding skyrockets every year, and it's never enough. And current Medical funding isn't going to be enough either, we can all expect our share to accelerate upward. And the SS funding-cliff train is barreling down the tracks at the same time.

I'm on Medicare now, pay out of pocket for dental and vision.
Looking for new dental provider, as current one has gone Corporate, they treat ya like a cash register,lol. If Americans are going to fund the 2 MIC's at this level, then the national debt is going to ramp up even more, while at the same time services are going to be cut.

I think I need to tune out again,lol, this is depressing.
