I have seen "traditional values" types trying to "solve" that problem, by making it much harder to get a divorce. If they are successful, expect an upsurge in domestic violence.

Actually, many do have children, either through a brief hetero marriage, or by the use of donations and surrogates. I remember an uproar, a number of years ago, about a young woman, who did not want a man, but did want children, being artificially inseminated. She ended up having two or three kids, in spite of the howls of the "traditional values" crowd that a single woman was not a fit parent. I can't remember if that was before, or after, Dan Quayle went on the warpath about "Murphy Brown".

There was a piece on the news a day or two back, about women freezing their eggs, because they are too busy, and broke from paying on their student loans, to have kids in their 20s. Remember the dog and pony show Bush #43 put on about "snowflake babies"? The nutters will probably try and turn the clock on child bearing back 100 years too.
