I had only a passing familiarity with Kirk. I did watch a couple vid's of him debating people. My first impression was " can't stand that smug, smarmy know-it-all". But
even so, feel a great deal of sympathy for his wife and 2 young children. Want the killer
brought to justice.
But the right vs left animosity flying across the net is pretty pathetic.
Trump wants flags at half staff for Kirk, did he call for that after the right wing
nutter in Minnesota killed 2 Dem Senators ?? Of course he didn't. Trump is just fanning
the flames, he likely wants violent outbursts so he can send the military in somewhere,
anywhere, to prop up his comic book "toughness". As per every other past incident, Trump
has shown once again he is a pathetic "leader".
Be careful out there, folks on both sides of the divide. America has a brutish element,
gonna be more bloodshed in retaliation over the assassination of Kirk.

I've been reading some of Kirk's past comments. For instance, he asked for some
"patriot" in California to go bail out the right-wing nutjob who attacked Paul Pelosi with
a hammer. I'm pretty sure Trump didn't tell Kirk, that in the interest of national unity,
he should back off the hate speech. Nope, Trump embraced it. Trump is a total failure
as a leader of the USA.
America is a powder keg, and Trump is trying his best to be the spark that sets it off.
Even though it's 9-11 today, there is political hay to be made with his supporters.

Two questions:
1. What act of violence was committed on August 27?
The Hortons were assassinated in early June, two and a half months prior. Why did he wait so long?
2. Nowhere in that proclamation are the Hortons even mentioned.
