Studies comparing suicide rates between red and blue states consistently find that red states (MAGA) have much higher suicide rates.
This pattern is consistent across recent years and is supported by both state and county-level data.

Policies associated with conservative governance—such as weaker healthcare access, lax gun regulations, poor education outcomes, lower minimum wages, and limited social safety nets—are linked to higher mortality, including increases in suicide rates.

Economic factors, such as job insecurity, low income, and lack of paid sick leave, increase stress and vulnerability in populations living in red states.

Overall, the U.S. mortality rate has decreased in the last two decades. But the improvement for those living in Republican counties was half that of those in Democratic counties—11% lower versus 22% lower.
