You can't negotiate with terrorists. That just encourages more kidnappings. Bad idea.

I know it's harsh. But you do no kindness to future generations by setting this precedent. The Israelis need to stomp on Hamas while doing their utmost to avoid noncombatants.

They should also force the settlers of illegally occupied territory to go home (Israel). Regardless of the disposition of the hostages.
