I've watched less than 5 minutes of OAN, and that out of morbid curiosity. The production values suck, the stories so outlandish I can't imagine that anybody would believe it was a legit source of information.
What does not get a lot of recognition are the settlements OAN is making for the steady stream of lies made on behalf of MAGA.
Example:
...."Far-right network OAN settles 2020 election defamation suit brought by ex-Dominion executive
And another example:
"....the far-right media outlet, facing a defamation lawsuit from Smartmatic, settled the case with the voting machine company.
And this week's example:
“To be clear, no evidence suggests that Mr. Cohen and Ms. Daniels were having an affair and no evidence suggests that Mr. Cohen ‘cooked up’ the scheme to extort the Trump Organization before the 2016 election. This retraction is part of a settlement reached with Michael Cohen. The so-called whistleblower, Mr. Avenatti, has denied making the allegations. OAN apologizes to Mr. Cohen for any harm the publication may have caused him.”
So where's OAN getting the money to pay off the plaintiffs? It can't be cheap.
