I blame bubblevision. Every time they talk about guidance or analyst's estimates, I grind my teeth. "Up" is not a verb!
Lifestyles. Family structures. Societal norms.
Those things are all topics of argument. There was a thread on METaR recently about the number of 20-somethings that are still living at home. A certain "traditional values" faction will bark that living in multi-generational homes is a "traditional American value", which conveniently evades discussion of housing costs, and caregiver costs for when the parents are too feeble to take care of themselves.
At what point do "societal norms" become a form of bigotry, when one faction dictates that everyone live their way?
