With Hunter's sordid reputation one would think he'd be kept 'under wraps' till some of the stink rubbed off instead off flaunting him in public, but then President Biden is proud of First Son.

I couldn't care less about Hunter. But I'm sure Joe cares a lot, especially since his other son died of brain cancer. My brother died very young, and my dad (who previously was mostly absent) suddenly was there. It's family. Good or bad, Hunter is his family. I suspect he doesn't care about public perception when it comes to his family. And I can excuse it if he has Hunter attending functions that are appropriate for a first-offspring. I can't excuse any abuse of power, or law-breaking. I don't care who you are.

Other than his laptop, I know very little about Hunter. And, until he crosses into illegal activity, I don't care. And I still don't care about the illegal stuff as long as his dad doesn't intervene on his behalf. If he commits a crime, he should be prosecuted just like anyone else, with a presumption of innocence. His dad is my business (i.e. my POTUS). His offspring, if they aren't into political affairs, aren't. Same with Trump. Tiffany was none of my business because she stayed out of the political side of the family. Ditto Baron. Jared was my business because he was an actual government official appointed by Trump.
