House Speaker Mike Johnson immediately reverted to conservative platitudes on gun control after the mass shooting in Maine.

Unless I'm mistaken, humans have hearts in every nation on Earth but America is the only nation that has mass shootings pretty much every week, if not every day.

MAGA Mike doesn't have a very high opinion of what's in the hearts of average Americans.

The then the new Speaker has also traced all present ills to the countercultural upheaval of the 1960s and 1970s that undermined "the foundations of religion and morality," including no-fault divorce, the sexual revolution, radical feminism, and legalized abortion.
