I'm pretty much on the left of most issues and disgusted at Israel's actions of late, but I'd sure like some independent verification of a claim from a classified document that nobody outside a small group has seen. And it would be helpful if it also came from a more balanced and trusted source like Reuters, the AP (or any other major investigative outlet) instead of Capital & Empire, which is self-proclaimed as Marxist and anti-imperialist. This site is not Democratic in perspective or even progressive, but has an interest in promoting stories that align with its mission so there is substantial credibility issue with it that begs for more even-handed perspective.
