The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Iran’s leader accuses protesters of acting for Trump

Iran’s supreme leader on Friday lashed out at anti-government protesters, saying they were “vandals” acting on behalf of U.S. President Donald Trump by destroying public properties.

In a broadcast on national television, reported by Reuters, Ali Khamenei warned Tehran would not tolerate “mercenaries for foreigners.”

As offered before, I take it as a given that the CIA and/or Mossad is hip deep in agitating. According to the Beeb, last night, some demonstrators are calling for Prince Reza, the son of the brutal, repressive, SOB, the CIA installed in Iran, in the 50s, to be put on the throne.

Many demonstrators in Iran have been calling for the return of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled son of Iran's last shah (king).

Pahlavi himself has called for people to take to the streets. So who is the former crown prince and how much support does he have?

Because, as his nibs said, can't have democracy, because the people might elect the wrong sort of person, so must have tyrants. Tyrants much better. Tyrants provide stability, regardless what the people want.
