I'm not sure that's correct. Most of the reporting I've seen tracks how SCOTUSBlog described the order, which is a temporary pause in the lower order while the SCOTUS considers the request for stay - not a granting of the request for stay.

Ok, thanks for that. So, I don't have to excoriate the Roberts Court just yet. But there's still time!
