Ummmm, those who have never faced life outside their bubble won't know this.

But this is not surprising.

IN the old neighborhoods -- it's not uncommon by gatekeepers ---of one community, to be bought off by gatekeepers of another community.

As someone who spent a few formative years on 7 Mile road and the Lodge Freeway I can tell you this happens all the time. Knew a pawn shop owner well.... my god what he would do to the neighborhood.

One side of that equation gets rich.

The other---pays them to get even richer.

On another topic as far as the tribalism you just spoke of -- there's much of that.

My hope is it expands and explodes to the point where politically things won't be as smooth as they are now.

Tribalism is only beginning -- ;)
