It's kinda funny...I doubt many true progressives would regard me as one of theirs. I don't share many of their views. I will say that progressives are more correct than conservatives. But that's not saying much, since conservatives are wrong about almost everything. (emphasis on "almost")

The correct approach to running a society is sort of like a shotgun at a political spectrum. Some pellets will hit on the right, some on the left, the bulk in the middle. A few conservative policies have merit (very few), some progressive positions have merit, etc. One needs to take the best each has to offer, and dispose of the rest of their rubbish. To the best of my ability, that's what I did (and continue to do).

I'm left of center by today's standards, but I'm not monolithic in my political positions.
