It is in the nature of belief that inconsistencies are overlooked.
Yep. Which is why science operates on very (very!) few "beliefs".
We all are "doers", but we don't control every aspect of our makeup nor our experiences. We are genes and "stuff that happens to us over time", shaping who we are. As of yet, there is no evidence for anything beyond that.
Beyond that, I'm not sure of your larger point. You seem to have numerous unproveable beliefs. Are you saying we are none of us "doers", and that everything is controlled by our genes and the STHTU? I've had those sorts of discussions before, and I think there is a lot to that idea. In the past, I would have said you were more of a "universal consciousness" guy. Which always implied to me that somehow the universe is dependent on our consciousness, further implying that humans are very important. Which I vehemently disagree with. An asteroid could wipe out humanity next week, and the universe wouldn't even notice. Or at least I haven't seen anything to convince me it would.
