i found this a very worthwhile bear analysis on brookfield; no standard useless remarks on opacity and flatt's 'character'.
the main point missed was in regards to how much of the financial sector, not just alts, depend on similar trends, and whether some hedges offer mitigation.

the part about ackman was hilarious because true! he is an amusing if insignificant contrarian indicator.
