I guess if you squint between the lines you might read that, but what he actually said was that Truett would be foolish to sell his company to anyone, given how much he was enjoying himself running it.

It is an odd truth that many customers, and some posters here, who have left-wing values, would never eat at a place run by someone who had right-wing values, and might even cause trouble for Berkshire if it were to acquire a company like Chick-Fill-A, even though its new management would presumably be acceptable to them. While the reverse is rarely true* - conservatives would not bat an eye at the idea of eating a Ben and Jerry's ice-cream cone, if the temptation were to arise. A combination of the intolerance of the left and the insouciance of the right?
