While the reverse is rarely true* - conservatives would not bat an eye at the idea of eating a Ben and Jerry's ice-cream cone, if the temptation were to arise. A combination of the intolerance of the left and the insouciance of the right? *The only counterexample I can think of is drinking a Bud.
