Yes, I think of “Medicare for All” as a slogan, not a plan. I don’t think you take Medicare as is and expand it to the whole population. You establish a new single payer system. It’s the same as calling the ACA “Obamacare”.
First, UHC might be popular, but paying for it won’t be.
You’re ignoring my suggestion that the primary funding source will be a payroll tax roughly equal to what employers now pay to insure their workers.
