Neither have I, but I'm not talking about a regular check deposit, I'm talking about the government stimulus checks that were distributed to [nearly] everyone during covid. And in the USA, you can only open a bank account after showing ID and providing your social security number (closest thing to a national ID number in the USA). It sounds like you don't quite understand the brouhaha going on about this in the USA ... it's almost entirely political, there isn't any real problem of voting fraud.
