I don't think they would view the historical analogy as being the Reichstag fire. I'm sure they view the situation more like George Floyd, or even a Medgar Evers.

The difference between the Reichstag fire, and Wessel's murder, was the Nazis were in power at the time of the fire, Hitler had become Chancellor a month earlier, so they could leverage the incident to advance their police state.

The World Trade Center bombing, was February 26, 1993. The PNAC plan had not been authored, yet, and Clinton had become POTUS a month earlier, so nothing happened, other than the perps arrested, tried, and convicted. The second time the WTC was attacked, the PNAC plan was fully developed, and a willingly authoritarian regime was in power, so they leveraged the incident, to advance the PNAC agenda. Now, we have the 2025 plan in existence, and another willingly authoritarian regime in power. How far will they leverage the incident?
