That is a poor understanding of economics.

My statement is 100% factually correct. China is easily supporting over 1 billion people. Just because it buys some of it's food rather than grow it themselves doesn't mean it doesn't count. It is using its expertise in other areas to get currency to buy food.

If you buy the food your family eats rather than grow it yourself, does that mean you are not supporting your family because bought food does not count? Of course not.

That is basic economics.

It already has. Compare the yield on an acre of crop land in 1700 to the yield today. Humankind is feeding many multiples of more people than it was just 150 years ago and it is using less land to do so.

As for the water and energy for data farms. The price of energy and water will rise and there will be an economic incentive for new supplies to pop up and meet that demand. Again. Basic economics. You keep wanting to take the technology, food, water, and energy resources that are in existence right now, drop in more people and more data centers and ask where are all of the excess food, water, and energy going to come from only looking at today's resources.
