Conservatives fought for 50 years to overturn Roe and put this back to the states.

Sure. Let’s do the same with slavery.

Or we could have a country where human rights are observed in every locale, and we could try local experiments in other things like taxation, zoning, and education.

I dunno, I hope we don’t get to the point where Iowa decides to allow 10 year olds to go back to work in the mills because, you know, “state’s rights”. Oh wait, we’re on the way already.
