If you have a moment right now, copy the url of a post you find interesting and email it (or tweet it, or message it) to your friends ever so often. This is the best way to make these boards increasingly active over time. (As for the culture, that has has proven that it is here to stay).

But that's not what the government is doing. You can discuss all you like. Any idea or opinion you have is fair game. They are trying to limit the spread of misinformation. Which I think is appropriate. But I do understand the concern. You don't what a Ministry of Truth, but you do want people to back up what they say with facts and/or science. It can be a fine line.

For me, some of it is easy. If a politician is making pronouncements about medical issues without support from the medical community, I ignore him or her. But lots of people didn't and don't. Which can be dangerous. It can literally get people killed.
