I like the independence part of that. I wanted it too.
Don't quite get the last sentence, especially knowing that Munger was a partner in a law firm and several other businesses that definitely sent out invoices, and like his partner Warren Buffett, he never really retired.
I have no problem sending out invoices. It won't change my life one iota if they are not paid, though. Maybe that's what Charlie meant?
