The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

>>The incompetent, corrupt, and stupid administration just admitted that the reflecting pool damage was the result of a flawed installation.<<

iirc, that was the Prosecutor that said that.

Aren't we lucky to have a POTUS so brilliant and perfect, that he knows everything, about everything, even when the expert specialists do not?
/sarcasm

As in the above listed cases, Trump the Most Perfect And Brilliant, knows better than the experts.

Trump says he disagrees with Pirro on Reflecting Pool controversy: ‘Pure case of vandalism’

"I disagree 100% with Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, on the Reflecting Pool. I don't know what she was thinking?" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

"To me, it was a pure case of VANDALISM, that included the grass, which had a big 86 47 emblazoned in giant letters on it, and other elements of the surrounding area. There may have been some contractor difficulty, but the major damage was caused by VANDALS!" he added.

Because, if vandals did it, rather than a shlock contractor, the government pays the contractor to the job again. More profit for cronies, with an "expediting" fee kicked back to Trump the Most Perfect, because SCOTUS said kickbacks are "gratuities". and are perfectly legal.
