I recently came across a high yield savings account paying 5.55%.
Better than any of the other HYSAs I have.

mybankingdirect.com - online division of Flagstar bank.

Highest on raisin.com is 5.27%
VIO pays 5.30%
UFB pays 5.25%
DCU pays 6.0% up to $1000, then 0.05% (ugh!)

I dislike having to open new accounts when a better one comes along, or when an old bank falls behind on their rate. So generally raisin is more convenient since you only have to open one account and can they move your money between banks on its platform.

But 5.55% is enough to switch.
