Received another entreaty to sign up for their "keep the change" program.
From their e-mail:
Simply use your debit card¹ for everyday purchases, and we'll round up and transfer the difference from your checking to the enrolled savings account.
So, they want to take money out of your checking account, and deposit it in your savings account. Why would anyone want to do that? The only thing that happens, as they shovel your money from your account to your other account, is you lose track of how much money they moved, bounce a check, then they sting you with service fees.
