but many remaining in this group are politically protected, or have fled russia. i.e., dudes uninterested.
2. why would putin escalate hybrid\actual warfare with the EU if losing in ukraine?
because logic doesn't drive decisions and negotiations. believing a '5 day' victory in ukraine is not the fault of planners who were going to serve up whatever putin wanted to hear.
i am skeptical to what extent putin feels he is losing. after all, MAGA experts weigh in that russia is not, and will do so until rw media instructs them otherwise.
and since trump admires and emulates putin, american intervention will be incoherent at best.
