In what way does Kirk’s shooting involve the government banning free speech.

The regime could leverage this incident to define everyone who opposes their policies a terrorist threat, just as Bush #43 defined every Muslim as a terrorist threat, and the Trump regime has defined everyone who voices opposition to what Israel is going in Gaza as "antisemitic".
