Husband and I are retired, he's getting ready to turn 65 and I am 63. We'd like to self-fund our LTC, but I'm interested in how other 'self-funders' have decided to invest. In some respects, I want to keep LTC money as safe as possible so that it's there if/when we need it, but on the other hand I understand the need to beat inflation in order to keep up with heath care costs.

Would love to hear opinions and tactics.
