You're pulling my chain. You can't seriously be proposing everyone needs to pay twice as much for health care, so support the for profit insurance industry as a make work program?
We pay taxes that cover the health care of everyone in the military. We pay taxes that cover the health care of every civilian government employee. What do you think Ford Motor does, when it pays for it's employee health care, eat the cost? Of course not. The cost is built in to the cars Ford sells, and it's paid by their customers.
We are already paying for everyone's health care, and paying twice what is really necessary.
