Well, you should care what albaby says. Because he backs it up with data/law.

That link is 3 years old. It refers to a "100 day moratorium". That was up over 2.5 years ago. Plus Muslim-specific restrictions were rescinded.

Meanwhile, this from less than 2 months ago:

A lawyer for the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden on Tuesday told an appeals court that a judge was wrong to block a rule imposing new restrictions on asylum seekers at the U.S.-Mexico border.

If Biden could "with the stroke of a pen" do it, I'm sure he would. But he appears to be going through proper channels, like he should. He's not a dictator ruling by edict.
